




Best Undergraduate Physics Research Project Award - 2019
In recognition of the growing significance of science and technology, and with the aim of strengthening research skills of undergraduates in the field of physics education, an annual competition for Best Undergraduate Physics Research Project Award is organized for university undergraduates in Sri Lanka, by the Institute of Physics, Sri Lanka (IPSL). IPSL recognizes and honors undergraduates, who have exhibited a distinguished competence in experimental and analytical skills relevant to the research in the field of Physics. The Award will consist of a medal, a monetary award and a certificate citing the achievement.
Undergraduates in Sri Lankan Universities are eligible to apply for the 2019 award for a research project completed in 2018.
Deadline for accepting applications for the award has been extended up to April 15, 2019
Sri Lankan Journal of Physics - 2014
The Sri Lankan Journal of Physics is a refereed Journal devoted to physics and related areas. It is currently published once a year in two issues. The journal entertains contributions in the form of research papers, research notes or review articles. Papers are now accepted for volume 15 scheduled to be published in the year 2014. The deadlines to accept contributions for the two issues are June 30, 2014 and December 31, 2014.
